ZG Raiffeisen cleanses its master data in five months
Challenge
Before migrating to SAP S/4HANA, the master data in three SAP ECC systems had to be cleansed: 1.5 million customer and 60,000 supplier master records. In the first year, this was done manually across hundreds of spreadsheets – slow, error-prone and without additional IT resources.
Approach
With our System Transformation Readiness App built on Celonis, ZG Raiffeisen gained full transparency over the master data in all three systems. In just five months, duplicate customers and suppliers were identified and deleted, and the remaining records were mapped to the right business partner in S/4HANA.
Result
80% fewer duplicate customer master records and 25% fewer supplier master records. Expected savings in the first year are €1M, as the manual work of five full-time employees and external consultants is no longer needed. Until the migration is completed in 2028, the solution checks data quality every day.
